Law offices "Blueger & Plaude" was established in 1990 as the first private law office in Latvia, and since then it has grown and has become one of Latvia's leading private law companies. Our clients are both domestic and foreign companies and individuals. Our attorneys have been working as legal advisers in various foreign investment projects. For a long time we were consulting the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development on legal matters in relation to the implementation of different projects in Latvia.

Our office's general areas of practice are legal assistance in all forms of entrepreneurial activity, construction, transactions with real estate (acquisition, rent, lease, management) and litigation. We have represented our clients in the courts including the Supreme Court, the Constitutional Court, as well as the arbitration court.

The attorneys of our office provide competent legal services and consultations in such matters as commercial law, tax law, competition law, finance and banking law, and corporate law. Our attorneys provide consultations in the matters related to the establishment of companies, foreign investments, reorganization of enterprises, insolvency procedures, bankruptcy, as well as others matter connected with entrepreneurial activities.

Several of our attorneys have been training and studied law abroad; two of them have practiced in the United States for a long time.

The firm co-operates with several law firms in Sweden, Finland, Germany and the United States.
